The PI-21 Way Image At PI-21, we listen to the voice of your business and use industry best practices (e.g., Six Sigma, CMMI, ISO, ITIL, COBIT) as needed to guide improvements.

The voice of the business starts with the business goals. Not just the goal to achieve a certain rating or registration, but the goals which will lead the business into the future. Based on those goals we focus on the existing business practices. Processes exist within every organization or they wouldn’t be in business. We want to identify those processes, documented or not, and determine the performance improvements needed within those processes to help achieve the business goals. Once the performance improvements are identified, we use industry best practices to guide the improvements.

This allows the organization to use their existing process foundation to make improvements that are more beneficial to the organization while minimizing the change needed within the organization. Our experience indicates that improvements made in this way are more readily embraced by the staff since the foundation is what has already been in place.

The PI-21 Mission:

To be the preferred provider of process improvement services emphasizing tailoring the industry best practices to fit the organization rather than tailoring the organization to fit the industry best practices.
